This drawing depicts a classical bust, probably plaster copy of ancient Sculpture from Accademia Albertina from Turin, used by future artists to perfect their skills in painting and drawing. 

A small defect should be noted: in the upper part, where the drawing was probably pinned in the painter's studio, there is a small tear.
