Florentine brooch in semi-precious stones with floral motifs.

The semi-precious stone plaquette with turquoises is framed with a filigree bezel.

Closure with needle and hook in perfect working order.

Meticulous Florentine workmanship, with many small details, created from small carved pieces of different varieties of stones, set with great virtuosity.

The preciousness of this piece is given not only by the careful work of very precise combination of stones, but also by the care in choosing the variety of stones.

A good part of the goldsmith's work consisted in the careful choice of veins of semi-precious stones which had to follow the initial idea of the craftsman.
