French carved and gilded wood frame, datable to the mid-18th century, attributable to the Louis XV period. The profile is animated and well proportioned, decorated with geometric motifs alternating with flowers and volutes, set against a finely incised lattice background.

The gilding shows an old patina, with scattered wear and light abrasions consistent with age and use. On the reverse, old wooden corner reinforcements are visible, typical of French frames of the period, corresponding to structural consolidation carried out in the past.

Structurally intact, but requiring consolidation in some areas of the joints.
