Signed by the artist in lower right corner: Tin Florias (Greece, 1897 - 1969, Corfu).

 Tin Florias was a Greek painter, who initially studied in Greece, but moved to Paris.

 At the time when Konstantinos Parthenis stayed in Corfu (egyptian-greek artist), Florias took lessons from him, as did Aglaia Papa.

 From 1918 (or 1920), to be installed in France.  In France, in the circles of Montparnasse and Montmartre, he forms his expressive painting and personal style.  In 1936, he would return to his island, his works often hosted in the halls of Paris, such as, for example, the 1924 Salon des Independants and the 1929 Salon d'Automne.  In Paris, he liaised with Dimitris Galanis (Grecia, 1886 - 1966, Paris) in whose atelier he met famous artists, Picasso, Henri Matisse, Derain, Bonnard.  Galanos was a first greek painter recognized as a member of international Avant-Garde.
