On the back is a saint to whom angels appear in a vision.
With careful observation you can see the division into squares that allowed the painter to reproduce on a larger scale.
Coming from the bequest of the Turin artist Luigi Guglielmino.

The collection of sketches and preparatory drawings mainly included works by his master, Enrico Reffo (Turin, 1831-1917), one of the major representatives of Italian religious painting of the second half of the 19th century.
High quality sketch, showing the continuity of the Italian and French academic drawing school, which continued to live in the studio of the painter Reffo in Turin.
