A female figure seated on a chariot with a shell-shaped back: a clear attribute of Venus.
The chariot is drawn by three putti or cupids, subjugated by the gods of beauty. In the sky, a winged cupid with a trumpet (symbol of fame) is about to crown Venus with a winner's crown.

Painted and relined. Some old restorations and missings.
The gilded wooden frame is from the early 19th century.
