The painting, triptych, divided into three parts, was originally part of a fireplace - piece of furniture - boiserie, created specifically for an Art Nouveau villa in Turin.
Virtuous use of color, impressionist painting, which transmits light, color, emotion in every single millimeter of the painting.

An incredible pictorial sensitivity makes this painting a great little masterpiece by the painter Arturo Stagliano.

The three paintings were set in a backrest, which in addition to the painting contained 2 bronze panels, also by Arturo Stagliano. (See photo.)

These complex furniture with painting and sculpture are part of a very interesting collaboration of painter Stagliano with the architect Eugenio Mollino (Genoa, 1873 - Turin, 1953) (father of the well-known architect and designer Mollino).

The painting is a rare example of landscape painting by Arturo Stagliano, an artist who began his career in Naples, starting from studies in Accademy of Naples with Domenico Morelli, but at the age of 27 he moved to Turin, where he died in 1936.
Several images of women and children are known, portraits of clear descent from the Neapolitan school. The artist's style changes more in an Art Nouveau key, when he begins to follow the sculptor Bistolfi, working more and more as a sculptor.
